TJNA, under the umbrella of the Civil Society Financing for Development (CS FfD) Mechanism will be participating in the Third Session of the Preparatory Committee Session (Third PrepCom) for the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) which will take place from 10 to 14 February 2025, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. 

FfD4 will address new and emerging issues, and the urgent need to fully implement the Sustainable Development Goals, and support reform of the international financial architecture. FfD4 will assess the progress made in the implementation of the Monterrey Consensus, the Doha Declaration and the Addis Ababa Action agenda. 

The Third PrepCom is the second of three planned sessions that will be held on the road to FfD4. It will provide a platform for Member States and key stakeholders to reflect on the initial draft of the FfD4 Outcome Document and share priorities and expectations for the Conference.  

In preparation for the Third PrepCom, the Civil Society FfD Mechanism has submitted its official inputs to the Zero Draft of the Outcome Document, with TJNA providing feedback on the Domestic Public Resources section. 

More than 50 side-events will also take place as supplementary platforms to involve key stakeholders in their solutions to close the financing gaps. The Civil Society FfD Mechanism will have a total of 5 side events as follows:
